Onboard-graphic - Problems displaying lines

Hello,

i am using a "Siemens IPC 547D" with onboard-graphic "Intel HD Graphic". Here i installed already the newest driver for XP version 6.14.10.5415.

I am having problems with a program called "Agilent VEE". Here i can read numbers and display them in a graphic object.

Attached the two screenshot display the yellow line. Normally the yellow-line should not have any blank parts between.This example displays 401 points and connects them with lines so that at the end i looks like a curve.

In the example the user can click in the Start-button, then a textfile ir read that puts the content in the display-object. After each new read of the text-file the yellow line looks different and not all data is displayed.

Are there any other drivers that i can install to have a correct display?

Hi there!

According to the computer specifications, the graphics is 2nd generation, the latest graphics driver is version 6.14.10.5415, and I do not have similar issues reported with that graphics driver version.

Try testing an earlier version

Or check with Siemens to see if there are customized drivers for your computer model.

Hi allan_intel.

Earlier driver does not help.

The soution was to disable the graphic-acceleration in windows.

Can be found here (for XP)

Rightlick on desktop

+ Tab: "Settings" (Einstellungen)

+ Tab: "Advanced" (Erweitert)

+ Tab: "Troubleshooting" (Problembehandlung)

+ Slider Hardwarebeschleunigung: auf "Keine"

I think there are a lot of issues with this driver as there are also a lot of problems when using office as i saw in other threads here.
