Amy,

Thanks for the response! I posted here first since this was a specific to Intel software that controls the video parameters; and since scripting most times it's universal not dependent on OS anyway. Is there any command line tools available for the Intel Graphics and Media application? The only fixes I've seen for this have been work around using functionality of Windows 7+ features for a solution. Do you have any advice with any platform for manipulating these changes without using a GUI interface with your software?

Thanks,

-James

Hi all,

I'm trying to change display theme's via command line; to script these changes automatically upon bootup/shutdown. This would preventing problems that happen with hardware changes with my client. I've seen some solutions for windows 7 applications solving some of these related problems. But I cannot find a way to handle this within the limits of using XP, does anyone have any experience doing this?

Thanks,

Hello, JFowler:

I have been researching about this but I could find anything specific and since this an old operating system that is no longer supported it might be complicated to succeed this action. Have you tried posting in a dedicated forum for XP? Perhaps this one http://www.xpforums.com/ Windows XP Forums or http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/56/windows-xp-home-and-professional/ Windows XP Home and Professional Forum - BleepingComputer.com

Regards,

Amy.
