Intel(R) HD Graphics - DirectX 9 applications / games not working

hi,

've recently bought sys with i3 config (Intel Desktop Board DH55PJ). 've installed directx 9. when i try to run games or softwares (MAYA, 3DS Max) which require directx9, they stop responding.

've run the dxdiag and it shows that Intel HD Graphics driver supports only DDI Version 7. it gives this error ...

Hardware-accelerated Direct3D 9 is not available because the display driver does not support it. You may be able to get a newer driver from the hardware manufacturer

've updated the drivers to the latest version, but still i get the same error.

The Intel HD Graphics supports DirectX 10 as a hardware level, when you install the latest Graphics Driver includes support for it.
