First of all and foremost, it is like finding a needle in a haystack to get some support on this issue.

Description

I would like to begin by saying I have issues playing Star Wars Battlefront 3 (which I did not before 1 hour ago) playing on my system currently. Battlefront requested that my Intel Graphics driver be updated, so I took the liberty to download the Intel(R) Driver Update Utility to fix this issue. The update utility informs me that I need to update my Intel graphics which I attempt, and then I am presented with this ridiculous error telling me that this version I currently have 10.18.10.4226 is NEWER than 15.33.36.64.4226.

Additionally, save me the talk about incompatibility because it's absolutely bogus, and I have been playing this game JUST FINE a week after it was out. This is Intel's problem, and I'm frustrated as IT.

Does it fail every single time, or only sometimes?

It fails 100% of the time. Completely screwed.

HP Pavilion dv6t-7000

Hybrid or switchable graphics system? Hybrid with NVIDIA GeForce 630M 1GB

Make and model of any Displays that are used to see the issue (see note2 below).

LFP = Local Flat Panel (Laptop panel)

Generic PnP Monitor on Intel HD Graphics 4000

12.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (11-11-11-28)
