Me and my partner bought 2 compaq 610 laptops and we are both getting this same error message when playing Sims 2. We have not tested other games yet, however when my parter was setting hers up she got the error, even before any games were installed!

Hi,

While I was playing a role playing game my computer froze and a message regarding file "igxprd32" "Display driver" appeared saying, the driver has stopped working properly. Everytime I open the game the computer freezes and I have to reboot. I tried downloading a new updated version of the driver and software from compaq's support site however the problem persists. I also used recovery discs provided by the manufacturer though, again, no success. My computer is a compaq 610 running on windows XP. What should I do?

Kind Regards.
