I have a laptop with HD 4000 Graphics.

I installed Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and when I try to logout or switch user or go to virtual console using (ctrl + alt + 2), I get a black screen and nothing moves from then on. Due to this I have to hard reboot the system.

We suggest checking directly with your Linux* distributor as the driver would be provided directly from them.

You may also check for troubleshooting at:

https://01.org/linuxgraphics/community Community | Linux Graphics

For further information you can refer to this article;

http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-010512.htm Graphics | Drivers for Linux*
