true, with MPC-HC and FFDshow 32bit it works, but that can not be the solution - Intel has to fix the drivers to get to a state where DXVA runs flawless on all implementations...

Hi Everyone

i am running an Intel i7-4770S on a Gigabyte Z87N-WIFI board (Bios F5,latest) with Intel Graphics Driver 10.18.10.3412 in Windows 8 and have serious issues running Video in XBMC or Plex - both using DXVA. I have stuttering looking like a bottom to top wave on the screen.

DXVA errors have been brought up in some forums, hasn't this issue been fixed by now?

DXVA with Intel iGPU works almost perfectly in all codecs supported (H.264/VC-1/WMV3/MPEG2) using other FFmpeg based players.

Try the clips you mention that have problems with XBMC, to other players like MPC-HC or PotPlayer, or wait for an updated XBMC because usually needs more time to get FFmpeg latest updates.
