Hi my specs are follows

Intel i5 6600K 530

Gigabyte http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5496 GA-Z170XP-SLI (rev. 1.0)

Samsung 840Pro 256GB

16 GB Kingston Crucial Ram

Lastest graphics drivers installed as of today

The issue I have is that the screen flickers and then goes blank for 2 secs and then comes back. What I notice once I go to Graphics properties that the refresh rate which was set at 60Hz has now changed to 59Hz for some reason. I only have 1 screen atttached via DVI cable.

I also have another issue which happens to be a sleep issue, where the PC refuses to return from sleep.

Hi Mrsash ,

Please post the exact memory model you have, and update to the last bios version.

Download HWiNFO64 and post a screenshot with all voltages for VCCIO, VCCSA and DDR.

It maybe a ram compatibility issue that your system has.

You can find them in sensors.

For that memory you must go in bios and activate XMP, then check in HWiNFO in sensors that VCCIO is about 1.15-1.168V, and VCCSA about 1.25-1.275V, and ddr voltage about 1.35V .

XMP profile is activated already.

VCCSA is 1.248V

DDR voltage is 1.357V

Still cant find VCCIO...

If you can't find it you should go in bios and check if its showing in bios in M.I.T. / PC Health Status.

If there is any help to you here are my voltages and I have the same memory as you, but different mainboard.

You should check PCH +1.0V and VTT.

He has CPU on idle Vcore to low 0.636V. If Mrsash didn't set the voltage manually then it maybe something with the mainboard ...

The screen refresh rate now is 59Hz which is not what I had set. I need to manually change this to 60 again.

Sure Mrsash, these are some steps on how to attach a file:

-Click on reply

-Click Use advanced editor (upper right side)

-Click Attach (lower right hand)

We do not fully recommend using adapters, the best way to go is to use straight connections (HDMI to HDMI, DP to DP, VGA to VGA, etc); I notice that you are using an adapter to convert HDMI to DVI.

That flicker can be because the monitor is detecting the resolution automatically. What is the resolution you are setting? What is your monitor's model?

I also recommend you to load default settings on the BIOS.

Monitor has been set to 60Hz. Monitor, cables have not been changed and dont want to since it has been working fine with all previous systems. Samsung sycmaster Display
