topic iSCSI Performance - 5500 vs 7500 in Graphics

A Windows iSCSI server could contain as many as 4 heavily user PCI-E x8 devices. I've seen some documentation indicating that performance starts to fall off after you move from 2 to 3 such devices.

I suspect that this is the case with a 5500 Series server, even in the case where the motherboard contains a 5520 chipset. I have been searching for some indication that a 7500 Series server would be capable of keeping up with 4 heavily loaded PCI-E x8 devices two RAID controllers and two 10 GbE NICs).

Could someone suggest where I might find an answer?
