Problem with igfxCUIService1.0.0.0 on every bootup

On every bootup of my Win 10 64-bit, I get the following "Information" event in Event Viewer, usually twice or more. By the way, I don't have any graphics card - so this relates to the Intel drivers/services for the graphics on my motherboard. Also, there is a running Service with Service name "igfxCUIService1.0.0.0" and Display name "Intel(R) HD Graphics Control Panel Service". Here's the event viewer message:

The description for Event ID 0 from source igfxCUIService1.0.0.0 cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

Please assist me with your PC model and your processor model.

Also, ensure to install any pending updates to check if this helps and update all of the latest drivers from your system manufacturer website.

My PC is a Dell Optiplex 7010 Desktop with 16GB RAM

The processor is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz

There are no pending updates.

Have you tried updating your Windows 10 graphics driver?

You can download it at:

This computer you have is an OEM computer and it could be limited to Windows 10 and maybe all the drivers are not available based on Windows 10, also the can be customized so you will need to get them from the DELL website.

Ivan - thanks for reply. Yes, I have tried exactly that new driver. Actually twice the last two days. I downloaded and ran it before your post above, and now after your post again a second time. No help.

On reboots just now, I continue to get the same message two or three times on each bootup.

The last bootup just now has three of them. They look the same except the last line in General is different:

Log on event received User1

Logon: 1

Received Post Shell Event 1
