Windows 8 - Lenovo T510 - Intel HD Graphics - DisplayPort Audio Not Working !

Hi,

I have connected my notebook with my TV using a DisplayPort to HDMI cable, but sound does not work (also on Windows 7). I have tested the same setup under Ubuntu 12.10 and it works perfectly (i.e. I am now certain that it is not a hardware problem). I contacted Lenovo support, and they were not able to help. According to their conclusions, Intel is to blame.

I started some threads for a while now without any outcome
