Unable to establish DDC/CI on Intel G45 using DisplayPort

I've tested several DisplayPort monitors but none seem to be able to obtain DDC communicatons over DisplayPort. Using HDMI or DVI works as expected.

Are there any known issues?

We just received futher data on the issue....

The intel Q45 chipset DDC/CI command waits 384us. Insufficent time for the monitor to reply.

This is something needs to be fixed in the drivers?

Hi Darv,

Intel's integrated graphics drivers currently do not support DDC/CI via DisplayPort*. I cannot say when, but we are looking into adding this support in the future.

We will update the following web page to include this DisplayPort information and will update again when its support has changed.

Thanks for letting me know. I will keep an eye on the website.

If Intel would any feedback on updated drivers supporting DDC/CI over DisplayPort, please feel free to forward my contact info. I have access to a number of DisplayPort monitors as well as tools to test functionality of DDC.
