Judging from this list at Microsoft - https://msdn.microsoft.com/de-de/library/windows/desktop/ms724832(v=vs.85).aspx Operating System Version (Windows) - Server 2012 R2 uses the same kernel as Windows 8.1

You can try e.g. the new driver

I suggest to create a system restore point beforehand.

My system won't start without a video card. I have had to add an external video card to start the system. The video card Driver you suggested doesn't work.... I'm getting a message no valid hard ware?

In order for us to better assist you, could you please provide the model of the Xeon processor, so we can check the specifications of it?

Also, if you are using a video card, then the drivers that you need belong to that video card, and in order to find them, you just need to look for them on the manufacturer's web site.
