Monitor does not sleep with latest Intel GFX drivers

Hi, so I installed the latest drivers for my HD2500 GFX, I noticed they fixed the issues with the CYBCr resting itself but now my monitor does not go to sleep, it just goes to a black screen and stays powered on, anyone else have this problem, any fix available apart from using an older driver that have the CYBCr issue.

Can you please post the Dxdiag report so we can check some more information about your system?

You can do the following to get the information:

Start > Run > type in dxdiag then click OK.

When it finishes, click on the Save all information button at the bottom.

Open the text file you create.

In the notepad toolbar,

Edit > Select All

Edit > Copy

Hi Kevin,

I have experienced the same issue. Using Win7 on Intel NUC (GPU HD4000), graphic driver GFX_Win7_Win8_64_9.18.10.3165 - monitor does not go to standby, only goes to black colour. I had to uninstall newest drivers reboot and then install previous version. I can provide later today more details if needed.

You're wrong mate, the HD2500 is supported in windows 8, you can download the drivers for it from the intel download centre.

Yeah they messed up monitor sleep states trying to correct the ycbcr issue, it used to reset itself to off whenever monitor signal was lost like when it goes to sleep, they fixed it with the latest driver by not putting the monitor to sleep lol.

Same problem here! My AMD just went out on me so I decided to run the on board graphics of my Asus Z87 Pro and Intel i7-4770k. The monitors go black but never go to sleep. Never had this issue before. Cannot find the older drivers as to which people speak but this is agitating to say the very least.

Just came here as I have the same issue.

Intel board: DZ77BH-55K with Intel i7 3770, Windows 7 64Bit

DELL monitor connected by DisplayPort, second LCD monitor connected by DVI.

DELL monitor does not sleep or standby when told to by Windows, LCD monitor on DVI does.

Problem only with the latest Intel graphics drivers version 9.18.10.316, rolling back to the previous drivers and the monitor behaves normally and switches to standby.

By the way the new Intel Control panel is hideous using the Windows 8 style of all white space and huge graphics, I've stayed with Windows 7 for a reason!
