Intel Driver Update Utility reporting wrong version for Graphics Driver

I just ran the update utility on my DG45FC. Here is what I saw for the Graphics Driver:

Product Detected Intel® G43/G45

Current Driver Installed 5.01.2600.5512

Newer Driver Available: 14.42.0.5237 (6.14.10.5237)

File Size: 20.915 MB

I ran the update, rebooted and it comes up the same way. I check Device Manager and even some other system info tools I have and they all report the new version, yet the update utility still detects the previous version.

Why is the update utility not reporting the same version as Windows? Is there some switch that should be run on the install like with the chipset drivers to make it report properly?

Try installing it manually.

You need the .zip file:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2996&DwnldID=18812&lang=eng http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2996&DwnldID=18812&lang=eng

then you extract it to a folder.

Go in to Device Manager and you right click on it and select update driver. Then you choose where you extracted the files.

j`ai en fin trouvé les pilotd et la carte graphique d`intel qu`il me faux actuel: 6.14.10.4363

son remplacement : (6.14.10.5237 ) merci jean-marc
