I asked this question a couple of months ago, but never really got an answer. I'm missing the igd10umd32.dll driver or it's corrupt. How do I download/repair it? I've got Windows 10 OS. Here's some more information about my system if it's needed:

Hi, Esteban,

Thanks for the information, but I am wondering if there is anything I can do to solve this ongoing problem. According to information I found at Microsoft (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2983468 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2983468), Intel can only solve this problem. Is there an alternative somewhere? As you probably know, after a person has Windows 10 for more than 30 days, you can't get rid of this OS. My business is being significantly affected by not having this driver available because Microsoft Word constantly crashes without it.

Please also explain what OEM means. I'm not familiar with that acronym.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Jentian

Hello, Jentian:

Thank you for your answer.

I regret to inform you that the Intel® HD Graphics 3000 is not supported for Windows 10*.

The way to get drivers for this would be to go with the defeautl drivers from Windows 10*.

You can get them after uninstalling the current graphics driver in your system (from device manager, under display adapters).

Also, please make sure you have all the Windows updates installed in your computer.

By OEM I mean Original Equipment Manufacturer, which would be computers that were integrated by a manufacturer (Dell, Lenovo, HP, etc).

Regards,

Esteban C
