Not getting Multichannel audio

Not sure if it is the right place to ask this. But I'm running my audio over hdmi to tv and from tv to the surround system.And I can run multichannel audio on several movies players. I'm trying to make it work on the game PES 2017 with no luck. Any suggestions I am all ears.

MB: Asus Z170-a

Does the issue persist while playing any other games?
Have you checked any other further sound configuration within the game?

first let me thank you for your dedicated support.

Currently the PC is connected directly to my TV threw hdmi and the tv is connected to the surround thew an optical cable.

The tv is LG OLED C6 that support all kind of audio formats.in the sound configuration I can see that everything is working just fine. I'm not a gamer this is my first. I thought i'm missing something for getting the multichannel. since in kody I never had such issues using passthrew dolby.

Dear Juan V

This is my first game so I cannot tell if it's something with the game or not. What I know is that I can play movies on kodi without any problem. The surround system is irrelevant here because the pc is directly connected to tv and I can see if the signal entering the tv is dolby or not.
