Okay so I deleted my graphics driver (Intel hd 2000) by deleting it from Device Manager. After that I decided to reinstall it from here https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23764&lang=eng&ProdId=3319 Intel HD 2000 Download

After I reinstalled it and went through the installation process it told me to restart my computer, so I did. After I restarted my computer it said installing software at the right hand of the screen. Then it said Video Controller (VGA Compatible) failed to install. I don't know much about computers, but why is it installing Video controller instead of my hd 2000 driver? Thanks in advance.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                -CoreTech

System Info:

OS NameMicrosoft Windows 7 Home PremiumVersion6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601Other OS DescriptionNot AvailableOS ManufacturerMicrosoft CorporationSystem NameRODICA-PCSystem ManufacturerLENOVOSystem ModelLenovo H420System Typex64-based PCProcessorIntel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz, 3100 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)BIOS Version/DateLENOVO DPKT15A, 2/25/2011SMBIOS Version2.6Windows DirectoryC:\windowsSystem DirectoryC:\windows\system32Boot Device\Device\HarddiskVolume1LocaleUnited StatesHardware Abstraction LayerVersion = "6.1.7601.17514"User NameRODICA-PC\RODICATime ZoneCentral Daylight TimeInstalled Physical Memory (RAM)6.00 GBTotal Physical Memory5.85 GBAvailable Physical Memory2.44 GBTotal Virtual Memory11.7 GBAvailable Virtual Memory7.56 GBPage File Space5.85 GBPage FileC:\pagefile.sy

Thanks for joining the graphics community.

I understand the installation of video drivers failed to install.

You may try forcing the installation of Intel generic drivers by performing manual procedure, see here for instructions:

http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022355.htm http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022355.htm

Download the zip version of the video driver:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23764&lang=eng&ProdId=3319 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23764&lang=eng&ProdId=3319

Allan.
