I am trying to get some information whether Intel Media SDK 2016 client software can be used to decode and encode video codecs such as AVC/H264, MPEG2, MJPEG, on Intel® Xeon® E3-1200 v4 Family with C226 chipset and Intel® Xeon® E3-1200 and E3-1500 v5 Family with C236 chipset , or not.

I have done successfully decoding and encoding video codecs on 4th / 5th / 6th Generation Intel® Core processors with Intel Media SDK 2016 client software.

I know that Intel Media Server does support Intel® Xeon® E3-1200 v4 Family with C226 chipset and Intel® Xeon® E3-1200 and E3-1500 v5 Family with C236 chipset,

I have looked through Intel Media SDK Hardware Requirements and the requirement never mentioned about XEON processor.

so I need someone to confirm whether Intel Media SDK 2016 client can decode and encode video codecs [AVC/H264, MPEG2, MJPEG,] on Intel® Xeon® E3-1200 v4 Family with C226 chipset and Intel® Xeon® E3-1200 and E3-1500 v5 Family with C236 chipset or not.

Hardware
