      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have an intel nuc6i5syk and a display with (only) a VGA connector.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'v tried several mini-dp to vga adapters, but none of them works, why is this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, Moris:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is not recommended to use adapters to connect the displays (TV/Monitor) to your unit. Since the video signal is going from analog (VGA) to Digital (DP/HDMI) we cannot assure it is going to work properly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was checking some information regarding this, there are active and passive adapters, it seems like active adapters could help in this type of situations.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Esteban C &lt;/P&gt;</description>
