Try installing the latest drivers available in your system; you can try using the Intel® Driver Update Utility. You can download it here:

http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu

If the driver update utility does not work, please download all the latest drivers for your system from your system manufacturer website.

Also, you can try setting your system to the last known good configuration.

Press F8 to access in safe mode and then select last known good configuration to see if that can help you.

Hello,

Ive been connecting my laptop to the tv for sometime. but recently it stopped working.

My laptop is Medion Akoya s4209. Intel HD graphics.

The laptop boots through HDMI until the windows 7 logo appears then goes black and says no connection (tv side)

If I boot into safe mode, it works fine, but with a lesser quality of display.

Ive uninstalled, reinstalled the latest drivers from Intel but to no avail. Ive also tried different TVs and cables. Ive narrowed it down to something between the intel driver and the HDMI port. ( I think).

Can anybody help?

Thanks.
