Hi,

Even this Intel HD Graphics 4000 showed useless to me. I tried each and every update of drivers, which you people provided. But from day 1, when I purchased this PC with DH61H0 motherboard, with Intel i3 3210 processor, with windows 7 64bit graphic card drivers are not working. (This problem continues with Windows XP, Windows8, Windows8.1)

My system show weird bars all over the screen, when the system restarts after install HD Graphics drivers. These bars appear after the "Windows7 is Starting Now" screen. Here is how it looks after installing it.

This screen works normally only after uninstalling graphic drivers in "Safe mode"

Of couse, my PC works normally but, it says "The Videocard installed on this computer doesn't meet the minimum system requirements" or "Your hardware acceleration is either disabled or not working properly" whenever I am trying to use programs like windows movie maker, etc.

I tried even updating my BIOS, but even it proved useless.

Hope, so you people might provide some solution or simply I have put this waste motherboard into dustbin and purchase some other company's motherboard.

I am sorry, this might be hurting you... But, I got vexed with your Intel HD Graphic drivers. I have used many PC intel boards earlier since nearly 15 years or s0 (Right from Pentium Pro) but never faced such problem.

Even if you cant provide solution, then just simply say me to purchase some other motherboard (from some X manufacturer) I will do that.

Thanking You,

Kalyan

How long do you wait between getting the black screen and pressing the pc button? Just checking. This also likely wouldn't be an intel driver issue if your saying it installs and you restart the computer fine with proper display and then this issue arrises after the amd driver. I assume that your already posting all of this in the AMD forums as well, as that driver seems the cause of the problem. Could even be a faulty card it does happen.

Big thanks to the Intel team for their great work making and releasing this driver so quickly! Your efforts and dedication to making gaming possible on intel have not gone unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.

I have recently installed the new driver and wanted to give my feedback on it progress. I had been playing Titanfall on the Beta2 driver. Since installing the current driver I have seen drastic improvements with it gameplay. Though I still am experiencing lag at times, (Mostly outside of buildings on maps with heavy fog or mass amounts of titan action.) I have been able to run the game at High-Medium settings smoothly with minimal lag. (Very High settings worked well indoors only.)

If anyone can, please post your fps you are getting on the different settings. I am unsure how to monitor that unfortunately.

HP Envy 17.3" 1080P i7-4700mq

2.4GHZ-3.4GHZ turbo boost

16GB ram

intel HD 4600

@Dre:

Thanks for your interest.

Before you press the button, let it go a few minutes, probably continuing the installation of the driver while the screen is black.

when I restart the computer, amd program window and amd website appears istallation completed succesfully,

and reboot again.

After reboot.. both cards code 43.

this issue has been treated only for probook 4540s and 4740s in forums hp, hp unanswered users. Do not think it's a manufacturing defect.

One thing I do not understand ...

Why does not any intel driver works in switchable mode OFF from bios (disable discrete gpu amd 7650m graphics). Seems that its working properly but dxdiag shows only microsoft display and Intel Control Panel never start.

@Robert_U: Tested installing first Intel driver and then amd driver.

I don't think that is really related to the GPU driver. Make sure you have IME (Intel Management Engine) driver installed: Download Center (And Legacy usb disabled in bios). From a previous post I found that your unit is NUC DC3217IYE - if this is correct, the above driver should be correct.

This driver is not available yet for most 4th gen / Bay Trail platforms - so no DD+ or DTS-HD under windows, unless they've come up with another approach to Protected Audio Path - and intend to fix it (as if this is the case, its currently broken)... or you find some way of bypassing PAP.

Intel has provided feedback that they've "told development team to do something" , but 3-4 months and still no driver.

You are right, I have an NUC DC3217IYE running Windows 8.1 Pro.

I have legacy usb already disabled in bios as well as legacy boot.

I also have the IME (Intel Management Engine) driver installed.

DTS-HD and DD+ work fine in Windows, with the Dolby test movie for example and DTS-HD in XBMC.

But DD+ still won't work in the Netflix Metro app.

There are currently 2 ways around this issue:

1. Install the Microsoft display audio driver, then DD+ works but I lose DTS-HD.

2. Start a Netflix series like House of Cards which has DD+, go to the audio device settings and try to set it to stereo.

This will produce an error and then DD+ will work until you stop playback.

At some point before in Windows 8 it has worked, but stopped working after the Windows 8.1 update.

This all point heavily towards the display audio driver in my opinion.

DD+ doesn't require Protected Audio Path in principle, thus playback with other capable applications might have better luck. PAP is a requirement of the Netflix metro app.

Add: PAP might be broken with Intel Management Engine (or other way if intel devised such) under win8.1 . This /could/ explain the long lack of driver for Bay Trail, as those came after the fact.

Just installed 10.18.10.346 on intel 4400 and no matter what I do I can't get the dam* tray icon to stay disabled. It always starts back up after reboot/restarting.

Ooops forgot to mention that this is Win8.1 x64

Anyone having monitor standby issues, when windows signals the display to go off
the screen goes black, but backlighting stays on, the driver is not properly putting the monitor in power save mode.

my monitor would sleep fine, with AMD/ATI card... but not with intel graphics i7-4771

monitor(dell U2410) is connected via DVI

I need solution, I cant have my backlight on all the time...

training myself to turn off the display manually is only short term

Also with this driver when I establish a WiDi connection the WiDi Audio is not enabled. I have to manually go in and set it as the default audio device otherwise I'm left with my laptop speakers

Hello Robert.

It's been a month since my last post regarding driver issues here /message/225628# 225628 https://communities.intel.com/message/225628# 225628

and I didn't get an answer.

I'll post here again my issues regarding the new driver 3496 and my older post.

No 1 about HEVC support has been answered in another Intel thread

No 2 the quality score of Cinebench R15 OpenGL test is the same as 3412, a little lower than AMD and Nvidia

No 3 the VC1_VLD2010 is still limited in 1080p decoding

No 4 this seem to be fixed because after the upgrade of the driver the VPP functions were all set to "Application settings" and all the other settings were set to "Off".

I don't know if a clean install of the driver (not upgrade) would have same behavior or the upgrade kept my old settings

No 5 is the MadShaders v0.3.0 OpenGL benchmark/test and has some fixes to Space Racing Lite, Creepy Mountains and # 9110.0 but there are still unfixed shader programs which are looking worst than previous driver, after the above fixes!

So the problems with MadShaders are:

1) Crash in # 6254.0 test

2) Corruption in:

a) Distance Estimated DoF

b) Britney's Spaceship

c) Fractal Cartoon

d) Dolphin

No 6 I have no new info about Intel's GPA crash and zero media metrics with new driver and GPA 2014 R2 using Windows 8.1

No 7 Pentium G3420 is still reported as no Intel Clear Video HD capable processor

No 8 No InTru 3D capable

No 9 Video decoding capabilities are still no clear in the release notes

No 10 I got an answer from Doom9 forum
