Being that the case, most likely you have a windows problem, a registry corruption because the driver from Lenovo is the proper driver for your system, and it should work without problems.

At this point, I suggest you to do a system restore and if the problem persists, try reinstalling the operating system on your computer.

System restore steps: http://home.bt.com/tech-gadgets/computing/how-to-fix-windows-10-problems-with-system-restore-11364008291943 http://home.bt.com/tech-gadgets/computing/how-to-fix-windows-10-problems-with-system-restore-11364008291943

NOTE: This link is being offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel of the content, products, or services offered there.

Regards,

Ivan

In this case, you computer manufacturer does not accept an Intel® generic driver, you will need to download the latest driver from your computer manufacturer, which is Lenovo.

You should be able to get it at the following link:

http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/u-series/u310/# tab-tech_specs http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/u-series/u310/# tab-tech_specs

Regards,

Ivan
