Doom 2016 wont start with HD Graphics 530 !

Hallo,

I wanted to test Doom 4 on Intel hd graphics 530...

If i start the game from steam, it do nothing ! and it Show me no error message !

I use Intel beta Driver v4444. Readme sad Doom 4 are fixed on Windows 7 and 8.1.

Any solution to start it on Intel GPU ?

Also doom 4 beta was playlable. But Final Version not work

My System:

Intel i7-6700k

Asus Z170-Pro

16GB DDR4

2TB HDD Raid 0

Soundblaster Z

Windows 7 Ultimate x64

How to get that report?

I created the Intel SSU and dxdiag and Doom 4 Crash log.

I hope it is usefull for you and Intel can fix this issue.

I see in Google nobody can start the doom 2016 on Intel hd graphics.

If i start doom 2016 from Steam, my Display goes for some secunds black and it go back to Desktop !

16GB DDR4 3200MHz - tested with 2133mhz to ! no difference by this issue !

Thank you for the information provided igpu, I would like to let you know that graphics team is already aware of this situation and it is being handled now.

Please take into consideration that this is a really new and demanding game which requires plenty of "juice", not saying that this unit wouldn't be capable of running the game at all, but it is not easy either for the high end graphics cards available in the market to run the game.

I would like to double check the following scenarios.

1. Please access the device manager, display adapters and disable the NVIDA GPU that you have (physically removing the GPU would be good as well).

2. Test the behavior of your system and this game

3. Do the same again but disabling Intel® HD Graphics

Hi Esteban,

i disable all the time my nvidia GPU if i want use my Intel GPU.

Also this issue with doom is not Hardware Problem.

Doom 2016 work by nobody with Intel GPU. I think it has new OpenGL which Intel Driver not Support !

I posted my Crash Log from Doom in my old post.

With my Nvidia graphic Card, Doom 2016 work without Problem. Only on Intel HD graphics not run.

If you are wondering why i want Play it on Intel GPU... because i test the pc games on Intel Graphics. This is my hobby

Hello, I also can't run Doom with my 6600k gpu. I've tried everything but it always crash after few seconds from launching it. Is anybody working to this big issue? Any update on when we get a beta driver?

I've used the latest beta driver available....

Yes, the graphics team si currently working on this matter.

It would be good for tracking purposes to have the SSU report from your system, would you please provide that to me?

How can you get that report?

No luck with Doom an the newly released v4463/v4464 driver... The game still crashes on startup.

@igpu: Can you report the same behavior?

ok, but anyway it's not a problem of my PC it's a problem of the Intel GPU that doesnt have a proper Opengl driver to support Doom.

hi, by me same issue to. i have Windows 7. Changelog from Driver v4463 sad Doom 2016 are fixed for Windows 8 and 10 !

Which OS have you ?

Also my Fallout 4 has still texture error with this Driver to

No the issue is not yet fixed by Intel :

I have windows 10 64 and latest drivers but still same crash....
