i have tried restarting my notebook and retry setting up the updater but the error keeps happening.

Hi Shadownight,

In regards to your consult, it is better to download the latest drivers from your laptop manufacturer website. We have generic drivers on our Donwload Center website but they might not work properly. Pre-build systems have customized drivers.
