Hello everyone!

I have a problem connecting my projector (NEC VT45) to my laptop (HP ProBook 6540b). When I connect the projector I can see the picture of my screen on the wall for a second or two but then it switches back to the laptop screen. And then it just continues to switch back and forth every second or so. The only way to get a stable picture using the projector is to have the Intel graphics control panel in the foreground. As soon as I go to any other program it starts to switch back and forth between laptop screen and projector. I have the newest driver (8.15.10.2266) installed. I have also tried to change most of the options like resolution, color depth, refresh rate and so on. Do you guys have any idea what else I can try?

Regards,

Steve

Hello. I have the same problem, did you find a resolution?

I tried Intel generic drivers but they will only run one display at a time, either the LCD or the projector but not both.

Windows XP plug and play does see the projector as an additional monitor but only for a few seconds, then it removes the display. This cycle happens over and over, off...on, off...on, etc...

Thanks,

Ben
