Hi, I am having a problem with the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver. I have the latest version that came out on 12/15/2010.

The problem is the driver is crashing "IAStorDataMgrSvc.exe" is crashing inside "IAStorDataMgr.dll", when I debug it says something about a missing file.

I use Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

I think it may have been caused when I used "add/remove Windows features" and removed some things. But this is the only thing that started crashing on startup, so maybe it is a bug with this program?

I tried reinstalling and still crashing on startup.

Here is a picture maybe it will help debug:

Thank you for any help.

I too have this problem with windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. Contacted Intel support and they told me this problem occurs if you have a Pioneer Sata DVD/CDROM and is bieng investigated. I was advised to revert back to version 9.6 untill intel release there next driver with a fix for this problem. I dont know if you have one of these DVD/CDROM drives but i just thought it might help.

John
