Hi BlackRayPlayer,

The game with customized settings requires more resources from the graphics card. It will be necessary to add a dedicated graphics card to your system.

I suggest you to review the recommended system requirements.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/252950/ http://store.steampowered.com/app/252950/

Regards,

Mike C

I was wondering if anyone that plays the game, Rocket League with intel HD Graphics, has noticed issues with Ambient Occlusion? I have two machines with two different intel HD Graphics, but the same issue occurs and only with Windows 10 64-bit. One of my machines, in Windows 7 before the upgrade, was able to run Ambient Occlusion with the same settings. What occurs is, with Ambient Occlusion on, is a discoloration at the bottom of the screen like a thin strip, but mostly white at the edge.

Machine Specs:

Windows 7~10 64-bit Desktop

intel Core 4th Gen i3-4160 3.6GHz Dual-Core

8GB DDR3 SDRAM @1600MHz

intel HD Graphics 4400

Windows 10 64-bit Laptop

intel Core 5th Gen i5-5200U 2.2GHz/2.7GHz Dual-Core Mobile

6GB DDR3 SDRAM @1600MHz

intel HD Graphics 5500

Hi BlackRayPlayer,

Intel already tested Rocket League and suggested to change the game settings as follow.

https://gameplay.intel.com/GamesSettings/7387/85212/Intel%C2%AE%20Core%E2%84%A2%20i5-5200U%20Processor%20(3M%20Cache,%20up%20to%202.70%20GHz) https://gameplay.intel.com/GamesSettings/7387/85212/Intel%C2%AE%20Core%E2%84%A2%20i5-5200U%20Processor%20(3M%20Cache,%20up%20to%202.70%20GHz)

The performance of older games might change while playing on newer operating systems. Change the game settings according to Intel suggestions.

Let me know how it works.

Regards,

Mike C

That doesn't seem like they tested this game. Plus, it didn't respond to the question of why the Ambient Occlusion has issues with some of the other features turned on, and I'm also noticing that Dynamic Shadows also causes a defect, because I mess with the settings to see what does what and how to improve frame rate without turning off most of the features. With that being said, I'm being told to use features that are causing defects when using the intel HD Graphics specifically on Windows 10 64-bit Home (Windows 7 64-bit Doesn't Have issues with Ambient Occlusion or Dynamic Shadows, which I've only seen on my intel Core 4th Gen i3-4160 with intel HD Graphics 4400 ~ Desktop). I will say when I replicated the recommended settings, the defects were not present, but that's because most of the other settings were removed. I find it random the two settings that cause the issue I see are chosen for the recommended settings. How about intel try my intel HD Graphics 5500 test with the intel Core 5th Gen i5-5200U 2.2GHz/2.7GHz Dual-Core Processor:

My video settings are as follows in the image. These settings also work well with the intel HD Graphics 4400 when using intel Core 4th Gen intel Core i3-4160 3.60GHz Dual-Core Processor. I was able to get more frames, while having more settings on in comparison to the intel recommended settings.
