Display Driver Has Stopped Working and Recovered Successfully.

I'm having a problem with a coworker's laptop where she gets a message saying that:

Display Driver Has Stopped Responding and Recovered. Display Driver Intel HD Graphics Drivers for Window stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

It's been having ever since she got the computer last month. It will happen randomly or when she tries to play a video in a media player. I've updated the BIOS and reinstalled the driver from the manufacturer. I also tried to installed the driver from Intel but I get a message saying that the computer "does not met the minimum requirements".

I also have this problem.

It started nearly a month ago in my laptop (Asus N75SF with a intel HD3000 and Nvidia GT555m).

This issue manifested in Flash Games on an browser (internet explorer, firefox, chrome).

I didn´t solve this issue, but, when working on battery power, the graphics problem didn´t appear. Only on AC Power. This fact was very strange for me.

So I went to the power saving definitions and change the (graphics and internet explorer, usb, etc.) settings when working on AC power to match the settings when working on battery power. This means I have to lower the specs of my laptop in order to work with it.

This procedure should not be the sollution for this kind of problem.

But it was the only way I find to fix this issue.

All my drivers are updated to the latest oficial drivers available.

I hope there will be a solution for this as soon as possible.
