      <title>Windows 8.1 Intel HD 4000  Direct X 11.2?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just updated to Windows 8.1 today.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Processor: i3 3110m 2.4GHz&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;RAM 8GB&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Graphics Intel HD 4000&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why does my card not support the new DirectX 11,2?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;dxdiag always shows DX 11. (It wouldnt even show DX 11.1 when i had just Windows &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":smiling_face_with_sunglasses:"&gt;😎&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-------&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also when will a driver update be available to optimize Rome Total War 2 and make it playable on lowest settings?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks! &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The link you reference explicitly shows that the HD4000 does _not_ support DirectX 11.1.  It appears the HD4200 is the oldest chip that supports 11.1.  Am I missing something?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jon&lt;/P&gt;</description>
