Kabylake HD630 no display on Panasonic LED TV

My setup is:

i3 7100 on Asus B250M-A mobo (HTPC, windows 10 64bit, with latest BIOS 0809)

via HDMI connect to

Yamaha RX-V677 AV Receiver

via HDMI connect to

Panasonic TH-60A430K LED TV

I had been using the above setup for months without problem, until recently when Intel released new driver version with version number starting from 22.xx.xx

The last working version is 21.20.16.4678, and all other version before this was also working correctly.

it was since last month, first Microsoft update center installed the version 22.xx.xx, ever since them every new version will give me problem, the symptom is that the TV will give total blank and no display. there will be display during start up (BIOS loading screen), Windows loading screen, and it goes blank immediately after the driver is loaded and i cannot see the windows log in screen. i can still login the HTPC using teamviewer, so i can confirm that windows is loaded up correctly and not hang.

i can revert the driver back to 21.20.16.4678 using teamviewer and it will solve the problem.

i tried bypass the yamaha receiver but still same result. so we can say it is not related to receiver.

i dont think this is the Panasonic compatibility issues, because all previous driver from intel or microsoft is working fine.

If you suspect major version 22.x to be broken try 21.20.16.4727 from Microsoft:

Thank you, i installed 21.20.16.4727 from Microsoft and it is working correctly.

so obviously something was different after 22.x which make it incompatible to my LED TV.

hope intel will find out solution from the next release.
