      <title>Upgrading to Intel HD5500 Graphics Driver from Microsoft Basic Display Adapter shows blank screen</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have Toshiba Satellite C55-C5240 and recently this issue occurred. So, when the HD5500 driver is installed, it just shows blank screen and I cannot do anything. I need to go to safe mode and rollback the driver to "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter", but issue with this is that I cannot use sleep mode, cannot change brightness, cannot connect projector, etc. I have tried the latest drivers (beta as well as stable version) but no success. Kindly help me with this!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Try the OEM drivers from &lt;A href="http://support.toshiba.com/drivers"&gt;http://support.toshiba.com/drivers&lt;/A&gt; &lt;A href="http://support.toshiba.com/drivers"&gt;http://support.toshiba.com/drivers&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Besides the graphics driver they also offer a "Toshiba System driver", sounds important.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are also BIOS updates from March/April that might help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
