video driver update question

There is an update for the video driver on my laptop, but upon installation I was told to manually remove the old driver first. How do I do that without losing video before installing the new driver?

Hi Bill_S,

I found this case missing in our queue.

In regards to your question, after uninstalling and delete the current graphics driver from device manager window, your OS will use a generic driver. You will have display.
