Hello everyone! I'm using a Dell Inspiron n5110 laptop with intel hd graphics and nvidia gt 525m and for some reasons i had to re-install my operating system. I have been doing things like this for a while but now i'm helpless. The problem is that after the windows and the intel hd graphics driver installation my laptop is starts to switch continuously between the full resolution and 800*600. I tried out the latest and 3 other drivers it did not help. Can anyone tell me what is wrong or what am i doing wrong?

Hello Devilkee,

Based on your description, I recommend you doing the following:

Uninstall the current driver you have installed.

Update the other drivers from your system manufacturer site, including the BIOS.

Download our generic driver from our side at the following link:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3319&DwnldID=22628&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Laptop+graphics+drivers&ProductProduct=2nd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+3000/2000&DownloadType=Drivers&lang=eng https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3319&DwnldID=22628&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Laptop+graphics+drivers&ProductProduct=2nd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+3000/2000&DownloadType=Drivers&lang=eng

Since you have two graphics card in your system, means you® computer has a special configuration called Switchable Graphics. I recommend you doing the steps above and if issue persists, you may contact Dell to get their specific drivers that were designed for your unit.
