We have a Dell Inspiron 3252 with Intel Graphics Driver. We installed Microsoft Office 2016 shortly after we purchased the computer and worked great for eight months. As of October 9, 2016 we are having issues when using only the Microsoft Office program. In word or excel we can open a file and the information looks good, however any attempt to modify the data with distort the screen, text will disappear and various menu bars show up. In the document area only. If you do a print screen of the document with all the weird screen information the print preview looks normal. When using outlook the same things happen, any email with graphics in it will not open. This is the only program that there is issue. The internet works great and videos can be played easily.

Tried calling Dell and they blame it on a software issue; Called Microsoft office and they blame it on a video card issue.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Droesbeck,

I apologize for any inconvenience, you have done the proper steps in order to narrow down the issue by talking to Microsoft and Dell. Now, let's start by gathering more information in regard to your system, in order to do that use this tool https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility Download Intel® System Support Utility. Once you have the report attach it, to attach a file, you must click "Use Advanced Editor" in the top right corner of the response box, then the "attach" option will appear in the bottom right corner of the response box.

Regards,

Amy.

Hello Amy

Thanks for any feedback you can provide. I have attached the summary report as a XML file. That was the only format option.

Thanks

Troy
