Second Monitor

So my second monitor WAS working, and then starting this week it wasn't. When I plug in the HDMI cable into my laptop, the second monitor lights up (so something is registering) but my computer won't 'detect' the second monitor. I have noticed while I was trying to roll back my Intel driver, that it said my driver edition is from 3/6/2017. However, when I go on Intel's website to have it scan my computer for updates, it says that I have the most up-to-date driver from 10/10/2017. I don't know why that's inconsistent.

I am using Intel HD graphics 520.

Windows is completely updated.

Lenovo is completely updated.

I have rolled back both windows and lenovo updates, neither worked. I've completely reset my laptop (due to other computer issues, not virus related). I've tried all the unplug-replug combos, restarting my computer, waiting, using a different HDMI, none of it works. I'm hoping that this date inconsistency with Intel updates will lead my down the right path to fixing this.

Here is a list of drivers you can try: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/88355/Intel-HD-Graphics-520 Downloads for Intel® HD Graphics 520

None of them has a date stamp 3/6/2017. Did you get the working driver from Lenovo?

(check below for further instructions)

How to get the SSU report?

Download the tool: http://intel.ly/2pQj9Kk http://intel.ly/2pQj9Kk

Scan the system

Save the file

Attach it to your answer

If you got errors while trying to install the drivers provided before, please follow these steps to install them:

To be done with .zip version of the driver.

1. Extract the .zip file downloaded

2.

Alright to start with, I took some pictures because I'm not the best at explaining things. I have done nothing since my last post, but now my intel device says it's from 2006...

If you look at the first three pictures (they are labeled 3, 4, and 5 because this is not the first post I've made) you'll see that the driver is no saying its from 2006, but when I try and update it, it says that this is the most recent version.

I've tried downloading the most recent myself, but each version I try says that it is not compatible with my computer (even when it is). I have a lenovo yoga 15 with an intel core i7.

I ran the SSU and the review I posted is on image 6 and 7. I also ran the intel updater on the webpage (the one that automatically searches for updates) and it says my computer is up to date.
