Is this a clean operating system installation or an upgrade?

If this is an upgrade installation try rolling back to the previous operating system and updating drivers and Windows* Updates before installing Windows* 10 again.

For the first time it was an upgrade installation but after the problem I installed the clean. Both, the upgrade and the clean have this problem, so I disabled the Intel driver, therefore the display driver is the Microsoft Basic Display Driver.

I don't know why, but the driver what the win 10 installed is the Intel HD Graphics 4600 driver.

I also installed the latest win 10 driver (Intel® Iris™, Iris™ Pro, and HD Graphics Driver for 4th Gen Windows* 10 64bit, Date: 9/19/2015, Version: 15.40.7.64.4279) and the driver what was installed was the Intel HD Graphics 4600! So maybe the 4400 driver is good, but the setup file is wrong, I think.

I think the problem is that the installer is install the wrong driver, because the latest (10/26/2015) update is still installing the 4600 driver. So, the 4400 driver maybe working well, but I can't install it separately.

Hello KissBenji,

Does the issue persist with the latest version https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25489/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-15-40-4th-Gen- Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 10 [15.40][4th Gen]? You can try with a manual installation http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033916.htm Desktop graphics drivers — How to Manually Install a Driver in Microsoft Windows 8* or Windows 8.1*.

Regards,

Amy.

I tried it and nothing changed. I also tried with the latest beta version https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25541/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40- Download Intel® Beta Graphics Driver for Windows® 7/8.1/10* [15.40], and the screen still turn black when installing, when I reboot the laptop the screen turn black (after the BIOS), so I disabled again the driver in safe mode. This is the only way I can use the laptop, whitout the intel driver I can't use properly the GeForce too.

Please, help me, I can't use well the laptop since October.

Hy, finally I solved the problem.

So the real problem was that when the driver install, it select the wrong display settings (default mode, 1024 x 768).

Solution: Go to the Control Panel -> Display -> Change display settings -> Advanced settings -> List All Modes. Here you have to select your real display mode and DONE! http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4910-screen-resolution-display-change-windows-10-a.html Windows 10 Forums

If you don't want to do it in the Safe Mode, then you have to install the TeamViewer (https://www.teamviewer.com/hu/index.aspx TeamViewer - ingyenes távoli hozzáférés és asztalmegosztás az interneten keresztül), so you can watch what you are doing (in your smartphone or another PC/laptop) after the screen turned black.
