How to install Intel Graphics driver on WindowsPE

Hi there

i have to install - for special testing purposes - windows pe on an tablet with an ATOM Z3795. After searching i found this driver: 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 4000/2500

This driver is available for 64bit operating systems. Thats fine

BUT - the installer is a 32-bit executable! This means i can´t start it on windows PE (since windows PE have no installed WOW)

What to do now?

P.S. installing wia inf-file doesnt seems to work - i can see an screen, but for example im not able to change resolution.

P.P.S the Z375 is a bay trail processor - according to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23162/Intel-HD-Graphics-Drivers-for-Intel-Pentium-Processors-and-Intel-Celeron-Processors Intel® Download Center the driver mentioned earlier should fit. But in the readme of this driver the Z3795 isnt mentioned.

Hi there

just to describe what i´ve done.

I downloaded the mentioned driver (intel win64_153335) and added via dism /add-driver to my pe.

After rebooting the resolution is set to 1600x1200 using the ms default vide driver.

So I tried to install the intel driver via devcon

devcon install igdlh64.inf "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0162"

Device node created. Install is complete when drivers are installed...

Updating drivers for PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0162 from igdlh64.inf.

Drivers installed successfully.

sounds good!

then

devcon enable "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0162"

ROOT\DISPLAY\0000 : Enabled

1 device(s) are enabled.

sounds good!

but

devcon status @Root\display*

ROOT\DISPLAY\0000

Name: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000

The device has the following problem: 31

1 matching device(s) found.

device manager code 31 means that there are missing files(??))

what to do?

It is important to say that OEM drivers include special features that will work specifically for your computer. This is why installing the driver from the Computer Manufacture is very important.

You can try installing our generic driver but it does not include the special features from the OEM design. Here you can download the driver from our side:

thank you for your reply, but it doesn´t answer my question.

How can I install the Intel-Driver on an operating system which runs exclusively 64-bit programs when the setup is a 32-bit program???

If the driver you are installing from our side, you must contact the tablet manufacture and get the drivers from their side.
