Graphics Problem

I have a problem with my TV/Computer setup that just started today.

My computer is an HP 110-023w

TV is a SANYO DP50843

The computer I have came with a VGA and DVI-D port for output. I have a DVI-to-HDMI dongle with an HDMI cable running to the TV (the TV doesn't have a VGA or DVI input port on it)

I have it hookd to HDMI 1 because that is the only way to get sound as well. All was working fine today until I was on it and my daughter did something. I'm not exactly sure what, but now

the aspect ratio is all wrong. The horizontal margins are fine, but the vertical isn't. I thought maybe it was the TV but switching the cable from HDMI1 to HDMI2 fixed the problem. However, I need

sound as well and don't have the money for speakers.

I've tried everything I can find on how to fix the sling, including the TV settings, the Intel HD Graphics GUI, the built-in Windows graphics adjustment, still no fix.

If someone could shine some light on maybe something I haven't tried yet, I would greatly appreciate it.

Also I tried updating the drivers, still no fix.
