Does Intel UHD 620 Graphics processor support HEVC decoding?

Dear Intel GPU community

i have Intel UHD 620 Graphics processor and according to the specification this type of GPU does support HEVC decoding.

However, a list of supported decoders supplied by DXVA2 utility GetDecoderDeviceGuids does not contain HEVC decoder GUID (5b11d51b😞

Therefore i am suspicious whether Intel UHD 620 GPU support HEVC decoding?

In addition, in the above list there are unknown decoders (i.e. not mentioned in https://gix.github.io/media-types/ ).

by using uhd 630 we cant find technical specifications , sir will you tell processor model and name , its depends upon the intel processor model

Let remind that my GPU is UHD 620. How can I depict GPU model? From device manager I only found the following info on my GPU: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_5917&SUBSYS_07E61028&REV_07 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_5917&SUBSYS_07E61028 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_5917&CC_030000 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_5917&CC_0300

Hello SRiab, Thank you for your response. I was reviewing the information and the specifications of your processor and in fact it should support HEVC decoding, you can check the information in the link below: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/datasheets/7th-gen-core-family-mobile-u-y-processor-lines-datasheet-vol-1.pdf On page 29 you will find the hardware accelerated video decode. Now, I would like to know if you have actually had problems when trying to decode this or is it just shown in the report that lists the supported decoders you generated? Does this happen in every software that asks for a decoder or only one? If possible, please let me know the software you have used to check that. Frankly speaking, upon restarting my laptop DirectX succeeds recognizing hevc hw:

found hw support: guid[5b11d51b-2f4c-4452-bcc3-09f2a1160cc0]

hw acceleration enabled - decoder[H265] format[NV12]

Have you a test program to decode hevc-stream?
