Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000

I am having a problem that has to do with the graphics card in a game called combat arms I know it is not that important to intel but I just want to be able to play the game perfectly fine.

There is a black screen problem that starts to occur when I have joined a game and I go near any gas that damages the enemy.

Someone on the combat arms forum said it is a problem with the intel HD graphic cards 3000/4000 and their solution was to buy another graphics card but I have an alienware laptop so I don't know how that is possible

I have checked game compatibility site for the Intel HD3000 and HD4000 and I did not find the game as playable.
