Drivers won't update

Today I tried to update my drivers for the sixth time but they still won't update.

After every update I opened Intel Driver Update Utility again and it still says I am on the old drivers and it let's me install the new drivers over and over and over again.

Since I tried to update them the games I play are laggy and my screen is flickering like poop.

I already had contact with you guys but I still didn't get a reaction on my e-mail with all the information I send to you.

I hope to get a reaction and a solution here.

I understand screen flickers when you are playing either Team Fortress 2 or GTA V.

Let me apologize for any inconvenience this issue may be causing to you.

Hello Fred,

With some old graphic drivers I am able to play most of the games I want to play.

I hope you guys are able to solve the flickering on screen.

Playing with the recommended settings, like minimazing the screen etc., doesn't solve the problems it self for me.

After updating the drivers the flickering appeared and only changing back to some old drivers partly fixed the problem for me.

So I will wait till a new update for the drivers and I hope that will fix the problem.

I was able to reproduce the issue in our lab with Team Fortress 2. I will investigate this issue further. I will post more updates as soon as I have them.

We recently released newer version of the graphics driver, and I would like you to give it a try. You can download it from this link https://downloadmirror.intel.com/27267/a08/win64_154037.4835.zip https://downloadmirror.intel.com/27267/a08/win64_154037.4835.zip

If possible try enabling vsync on the game settings. After doing further testing I was able to fix the issue by enabling vsync.

Sorry for the very very late reply.

You guys helped me solve the issue. Without you guys the issues wouldn't have be gone.

Alan A. asked me to do the following and that worked out very well.

Download the graphics driver ZIP file: https://downloadmirror.intel.com/27267/a08/win64_154037.4835.zip https://downloadmirror.intel.com/27267/a08/win64_154037.4835.zip
Unzip the file to a designated location or folder.
Right-click Windows Start icon and open Device Manager.
Click Yes when prompted for permission from User Account Control.
Expand the Display adapters section.
Right-click the Intel® graphics entry and select Update Driver Software.
Click "Browse my computer for driver software".
Click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".
Click "Have Disk".
Click "Browse".
Access the designated location or folder, and access a folder called "Graphics".
Select the file called "igdlh64" or "igdlh".
Click Open, then click OK, and finally click Next. Drivers are now being installed.
Reboot your computer.
