I went back from Windows 10 to Windows 7 a month, because I couldn't setup multi-head setup with HD 4000 chip on Windows 10. I was blaming Intel HD drivers for that, because this is the only driver version, which differed when I installed Windows 10 (Win7 = 10.18.10.3958, Win10 = 10.18.10.4252). Today with windows updates I got driver version bump on Windows 7 (10.18.10.3958 -> 10.18.10.4276), but I cannot find any information whatsoever about this release on intel.com. I am tempted to install Windows 10 again, but is this driver also available on Windows 10? Where can I find a changelog for this release?

The Intel Driver Update Utility is useless, always was useless, always will be useless. It never worked in the past years, always showinr none or wrong information. For example it doesnt show version 4276 and says 4252 would be newest which is obviously wrong. Also Intel driver naming is a mess, since years. It is mostly impossible to find newest drivers through their site.

Hello klumsch,

You could find out which are the latest graphics drivers by visiting https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ Drivers & Software and searching for specific product then narrow down the search by filtering using the drop down buttons "Any download Type" and "Any operating System" then you could see under "Version" the latest driver released.

Regards,

Caesar B_Intel.
