    <description>&lt;P&gt;computer model: dell latitude E5479&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;cable: avtek HDMI 10M&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;driver version: 21.20.16.4574&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when did the issue start? this is the first time i am trying connect HDMI cable  to this computer...with previouses computers things went smove...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;have it tried other HDMI cables? not yet, tomorrow i will check another one (but i tried new cable...)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i searched online and saw this is not rare problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i tried all solution that i saw in the internet, but nothing worked.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;my computer cannot recognize the audio of the hdmi cable...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i tried go to sound control and set it to default, but it doesn't let me do so...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i tried to update my display driver, but it says it is alreade up to date...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i tried few TV's, and the same problem exists...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;please, help me enjoy audio from my laptop to TV&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;this is dell laptop with intel® HD Graphics 520...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;windows 8.1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;intel core i5-6200U 2.3 GHz&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

See below.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Provide your computer model.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Provide the cable model and brand.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Check for the driver version you are running.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Please, let me know if you are able to try the other HDMI cable.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the meantime, let's update your Intel® HD Graphics driver. Find below the steps to remove the current driver, and the driver I would like you to test.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Open the Device Manager.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Expand the Display Adapters section.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Find the Intel Graphics Driver. The driver can also be called the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver (Intel® GMA Driver).&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Right-click the Intel Graphics Driver and select Uninstall.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Select the check box Delete the driver software for this device.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The system must go through a restart to complete the uninstall process.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;If no older drivers are stored in the system, the graphics controller in device manager should now be listed as 'Microsoft Basic Display Adapter', 'Standard VGA Graphics Adapter' or similar.
