Hey guys i just bought my new acer gateway NE57003h and i cant even play minecraft at low settings without fps lag.. is there any way i can fix the lag ?

System : Windows 8 64 Bit

i5 3337U 1.80 GHz

8 GB Ram

500 GB Harddrive

help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the information.

I would like you to do some troubleshooting steps:

Update the BIOS of your computer to latest. Here I found the link for it:

Try to get the latest firmware patch for the game.

You can also check in the BIOS to increase the Share Memory.

Note that the Intel® graphics controllers uses shared memory that is taken from the RAM memory installed on your computer.

The feature that sets the amount of memory that is used for video is called Intel® Dynamic Video Memory Technology and this will make the graphics controller only to use the amount of RAM memory that it requires to run the different applications or software's.

You will see this option usually in BIOS and you will have 3 options, 128MB, 256MB and maximum DVMT. Other values can be found as 512MB, etc but this depends on the motherboard manufacturer and the amount of RAM memory installed on your computer but this also can help you with performance when gaming.
