Hi,

So I get the error below when trying to run the game, so I select OK and the game runs and works fine... for a while. Intermittently, the game then crashes and I have to reload. I', quite shocked as this as I have a brand new gaming laptop that has the most up to date graphics card and should be able to support it.

Is there a bug in the game? I've tried searching for the xx.xx.15.48 or later driver and it doesn't exist or I don't have the rights!? All very odd, this game cost a lot for me to play and I want to play it.

I hope you can help!

...there is no such driver xx.xx.15.48...

Source:

Judging from the old driver you have installed you have a Gen9 GPU, so you can try this newer driver: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27266/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-60- Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.60]

Another Optimus user helped himself by disabling Intel GPU

https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Please-update-Intel-Driver/td-p/6435950 Solved: Please update Intel Driver? - Answer HQ

This is of course just a work-around, no solution.

I really thought this would work, but alas...

Thanks for trying though. I'm surprised EA haven't got many reports about this and are aiming on a fix though.
