so I was trying to download Intel Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.45] and the message "This installation package is not supported by this processor type". What do I do?

That is an old processor.

I have to ask you for more information. Can you provide the manufacturer of your system (laptop, I assume), and the complete model number of your system. If a laptop, this information is typically located on the bottom of the device.

Ok, sorry for the wait.

Are you 32-bit windows 7 or 64-bit windows 7? Again, right click on computer, select properties, and find the information there.

Your laptop has dual graphics. It is recommended that you use the drivers from dell.

Are you hoping for a performance improvement by updating the Intel driver?

32bit and updating the drivers was recommended for a game that I want to play. It's the only solution I've seen for getting the game to actually play and not crash immediately.

If these graphics do not help, you may be out of luck.

My best recommendation is for you to consider replacing your laptop with something new or more recent. It will be the only way to get support on issues like graphics.

Also, have you tried switching to the nvidia graphics to run your game? You will have a greater chance of success if you do.
