Intel hd630 4k60 problem?

Hi Intel Community!

Recently bought a new MSI Laptop with both integrated and discrete graphics. I tried to display on a 4k TV via the HDMI 2.0 output on my laptop.

However, in the intel graphics control panel, the TV only appears to display at 30hz or less.

I checked the cable with my pc using a dedicated GPU and it successfully displayed at 60hz.

Any ideas?

My laptop : MSI GS63 7RD

And the TV: Philips 55PUS6101/12 (has support for 4k60 on HDMI 3 and 4)

In order for me to assist you better, please provide me with a DxDiag* report. Please follow these steps to generate it:

1. In the keyboard, press WinLogo key + R.

2. In the Run box please type dxdiag and hit Enter.

3. Click on Save All Information (save it to your desktop).

4. Attach the .txt file that was generated. To attach a file, you must click the "Attach" option on the bottom right-hand corner of the response box.

Additionally, please attach to the thread an https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005848/graphics-drivers.html Intel® HD Graphics Report. When you generate this report, please make sure the monitor is connected to your laptop.

Here are the files you have requested. I made sure to have the TV connected for the "Intel Report File".

Please make sure that your TV's software is up to date (latest version: 012.003.034.001). Additionally, I can see that your graphics drivers are outdated. Thank you for your suggestions.

I updated my graphics driver and made sure after it is up to date.

TV's software was already the last one available, but I doubled checked to make sure.

However, the problem persists and still can not choose "60Hz" on the 4k resolution of the TV.

Thank you for all your time and suggestions.

I double-checked on manufacturer's website the HDMI output and it seems it goes to only "30Hz". I must have read something else in the beginning, or confused it with the mDP or TB outputs.
