topic Cannot open Intel Graphics Control Panel "incompatible legacy version" in Graphics

I just bought a Lenovo legion y 530 with intel UHD graphics 630. when i first opened it, it had intel hd control panel working fine. However after updating windows and intel drivers, the panel disappeared so i tried downloading it from the microsoft store, but it wouldnt open due to an incompatible legacy version being installed on the machine. I then tried to completely uninstall the DCH driver, and reinstall the newest one(26.20.100.6861) manually, but i am still unable to launch the control panel due to and incompatible legacy version. The graphics command center did work though, but as far as i can tell it doesnt allow me to switch from maintain scaling to maintain aspect ratio. Does anyone know how i can get it to work?

Why did you use the Intel drivers? You should use ONLY the drivers provided by Lenovo. If you still have issues, contact Lenovo support.

Doc
