Now that I can use latest Intel GPU DCH drivers on my laptop,

Can you please solve my problem?

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

To better assist you please provide the following information:

Please provide the current graphics driver installed.
Are you using a straight connection to connect the monitor?
Was the option showing at a certain point for the second monitor?
Please provide the Intel® Graphics Command Center version.

To gather system information I would appreciate if you could provide an updated DxDiag following the steps below:

Please press WinLogo key + R.
In the Run box, type “dxdiag” and click Enter.
Click on Save All Information.
Open the report.
Click "save all information" to save the .txt file

After checking the previous thread, we recommended checking with the computer manufacturer for driver customizations that may be causing this behavior. Were you able to check with them?

Please let me know about their recommendation.

tried Intel® Graphics Command Center Beta too

Dell never replied, they're not a reliable company.

Besides I don't want to use drivers from Dell. They're always using older versions, I want to use latest drivers straight from Intel.

I tried using both YCbCr On/Off and not working in either.

Also tried using 2560x1440, 1920x1080, 1280x720 resolutions.

Please make sure (if applicable) that the firmware of the monitor is up to date.

I don't think this monitor has option to do that, I've googled but didn't find anything.

Have you tried a different monitor? if so what is the behavior?

I don't have a different monitor.

However that's not true. I'm using HDMI cable

Regarding this matter, this behavior is expected, the graphics driver will read the xvYCC or YCbCr capabilities reported by the display when connected via HDMI and depending on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) configuration it will turn it on by default. When xvYCC or YCbCr is detected then Saturation is not used as these options are mutually exclusive.

This answer was provided on the previous thread and our recommendation is to report this to the system manufacturer since this is related to OEM driver's customization.

However Dell is not going to lift a finger, so why can't this be fixed in the Intel DCH GPU Driver / Intel Graphics Command Center?

Also, I've already tried disabling YCbCr but saturation is not available in either on or off. Shouldn't it work with YCbCr off then?

We consider that this is an expected behavior, the graphics driver will read the XVYCC or YCbCr capabilities reported by the display when connected via HDMI and depending on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) configuration it will turn it on by default.

When XVYCC or YCbCr feature is detected then Saturation is not used as these options are mutually exclusive.

For testing purposes, we tested an HP EliteDisplay E242* monitor via HDMI to a Lenovo ThinkPad T580* using the driver 27.20.100.8280 and the Saturation option is available.

Therefore, my recommendation would be to report this behavior to the OEM as this is occurring due to the design of the device.

That being said, this behavior will require direct assistance from the OEM.
